Your Experience Could Be Someone Else’s Next Step
Become a mentor in our free, virtual 12-week program and use your professional knowledge and experience to help another woman move forward in her business, career, or leadership journey.
YOUR ROLE
What Does A Mentor Do?
As a mentor, or should we say “collaborator”, your role is to help your mentee work toward one primary goal or challenge over the course of 12 weeks. You’ll get to know what she hopes to accomplish, help her set realistic goals, and offer guidance based on your own knowledge and experience.
Depending on the match, that could mean reviewing a plan, talking through an idea, teaching a skill, offering feedback, recommending resources, or helping her see a challenge from a new perspective. You’ll also help her stay accountable, recognize her progress, and determine what to focus on next.
You are not expected to complete the work for your mentee or have an answer to every question. Your role is to listen, guide, encourage, and help her make informed progress while keeping ownership of her own journey.

Where Could Your Experience Make a Difference?
Our mentees enter the program with different goals, challenges, and levels of experience. We thoughtfully match each mentee with a mentor whose background aligns with the type of support she needs.
WHAT TO EXPECT
A Clear Structure With Support Along The Way
You’ll stay in communication with your mentee each week throughout the 12-week program. Some weeks will include longer, hands-on support sessions, while others will focus on goal setting, progress, reflection, or shorter check-ins.
The program includes four support sessions that typically last 45–60 minutes and two check-ins that last approximately 20–30 minutes. Meeting times are arranged between you and your mentee, giving you flexibility to find a schedule that works for both of you.
You won’t be expected to plan the entire mentorship experience on your own. Creating Space provides a clear weekly outline, session templates, conversation prompts, goal-setting tools, progress resources, and guidance for each stage of the program. You’ll also have a point of contact if questions, concerns, or challenges come up along the way.
You bring your experience and perspective. We’ll provide the structure and resources to help you share them meaningfully.
